I
'm in search of any living relatives from the family of Baysingers that lived in Cairo Ill. I have a picture of a man standing next to a truck that say H B Baysinger Cairo ILL. and has a phone #...but I believe this man has passed. He could have been my uncle or grandfather. I'm having the worst time finding any info other then deaths. I'm a Baysinger now Seaton just trying to find any links to my fathers side of family, prefer alive. HELP!I thank you for any help you can provide. This has been a
difficult search. I can't seem to find any living relatives on my fathers side.
I almost feel as if I'm not a part of any family. No Baysingers currently live
in Cairo this I know for sure. But they did at one time. I know some went to St
Louis. But from what I know the only man I'm sure was there..who would have been
an uncle..I think...Has passed and I can't find who siblings or kids are.
SO again. Thank you;
I am seeking info on my BYRD family. I am looking for information on Rosa (WASHINGTON) and William H. Byrd. They were married January 1, 1887 in Alexander County, Illinois. I believe Rosa is the sister of Laura WASHINGTON who was born in Louisiana about 1859, and married George CLAY. I am trying to make a positive connection. Any information would be helpful.
I am seeking information on a great-great grandfather. The information I have is his name is George Whitlock and he died April 1881 in Cairo IL. I do not know the date. I would like to know if he is buried in the cemetery there and if they have records that far back. I have information on another great-great grandfather named William L. Hambleton who died 29 January 1883 in Mound City, IL. Would I have to get information from Mound City for him? I am planning a trip to your area in May and would like to know if they are buried at these sites. I would appreciate any information you can give me.
I am searching for a picture of a school that was in existence in the 1950's called Elmwood Elementary School. I know it has since burned and the shell of the building still remains. It was located in Cairo, IL. A dear friend of mine went to school there and would love to have a picture of the school. If you could help me find a picture, I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you.
