Mr. Napoleon Watkins was born March 17, 1914 , in Gethsemane, Ark., to Carnell and LuElla Hicks Watkins, he married Laverne C. Travis on Nov. 15, 1936 in Grand Chain.

Surviving him in his death are, Laverne Watkins.

Also surviving are two daughters, both of Peoria; one sister, five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by one brother.

He worked for more than 35 years in the foundry at Caterpillar Inc. of Mapelton before retiring in 1975.

A World War II Army veteran serving in the American and european-African-Middle Eastern theaters, he was awarded two Bronze Stars and a Victory Medfal II. Mr. Napoleon Watkins March 17, 1914 To April 17, 1991.
